Teacher help
Build a strong profile, set a fair price, deliver great trial lessons, ask happy students for reviews and referrals — see the sections below.
Students choose teachers through profiles. Complete yours carefully. First impressions count — use a friendly, professional photo and video.
You set your price and lesson length. Starting slightly lower can help you gain traction; you can change both anytime.
Ask satisfied students to recommend you to friends. A happy student is often glad to spread the word.
Politely ask students who enjoyed your lessons to leave a review. Many students read reviews before booking.
Your first lesson with a new student is a chance to connect. Prepare well: understand their goals, outline a simple study plan, and teach for about 20–30 minutes in your style so they can see how you work. A strong trial often leads to more bookings.
Try not to miss class. If you must, contact the student promptly, apologize, and suggest a new time.
If the student is late, wait and message them through the BLUEXEE messaging system.
If a student does not attend and you would be entitled to mark the lesson as held, we still recommend offering a replacement lesson when reasonable — it helps long-term trust.
